For over 50 years Oklahoma City University’s Performing Arts Academy has been inspiring and educating music students of all ages. As the community music education program of OCU’s Bass School of Music, the Performing Arts Academy inspires and educates those who wish to explore their musical horizons.
The Performing Arts Academy provides students of all ages with private lessons in voice, piano, strings, brass, percussion and woodwinds. We are one of a few Oklahoma locations to offer Kindermusik and our renowned Suzuki instrumental programs. Each summer the Performing Arts Academy presents its acclaimed summer music programs, offering students from around the nation excellent pre-college vocal and instrumental training.
The guiding principal of the Performing Arts Academy is “transforming lives through music.” We believe in the power of music and its ability to shape and develop an individual. With our diverse programs, we are able to begin a student’s life-long journey with music.
