OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University has unveiled its new brand, including an updated logo, following a yearlong research and design initiative.
OCU President Robert Henry said the new graphic identity is a fresh take on an iconic OCU image.
“The contemporary star denotes motion, while at the same time harkening to the star atop the university’s Gold Star Building,” he said. “The strong icon of the star also reflects our Stars mascot and exhibits optimism for the future of OCU and our students.”
The logo works in tandem with the university’s branding strategy. OCU will be integrating the new logo into campus signage, apparel and materials during the next several months.
