Enforcement
Title IX is enforced by the Office for Civil Rights in the U.S. Department of Education (OCR). Sex discrimination in employment is also prohibited by Title VII, enforced by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in the U.S. Department of Labor.
