On-Camera Acting in Paris

About the Program

Spend summer 2019 studying Fundamentals of On-Camera Acting in Paris, the birthplace of movies, and the city that still loves them the most. In an intensive five-week program, students will earn credit for this required course for acting and film production majors, training with School of Theatre professor Timothy Fall and gaining an overview of working on camera, including scene work to be shot on location with the iconic locations of Paris as your backdrop.

To increase their engagement with Parisian culture, students will also enroll in a French language course that meets daily at the Alliance Française on the Left Bank, studying French at the appropriate level and earning an additional three to six credit hours during the five-week program.

The program fee includes three credits of OCU tuition, accommodations in a Paris apartment, day trips, museum tours, city-wide transportation pass, and three group meals. An additional fee is required for the French language course. See budget for prices and available levels of study.

Join us June 2 - July 6, 2019 and begin to grow your understanding of the neighborhoods and characters that for centuries have made Paris the most popular city in the world for artists.
