Shakespeare in London

About the Program

One month. Two OCU classes. Living and working in downtown London. West End shows. Shakespeare’s Globe. A weekend in Stratford Upon Avon and two plays at the Royal Shakespeare Company. And to top it off, spend a week PERFORMING INTERNATIONALLY at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Students will study on the Goldsmith’s University campus, stay in University of London housing and take classes and be directed by OCU Theatre Professor Lance Marsh.
Dates: July 17 to Aug. 12, 2024

Program Cost: $6,713

Includes:

  • 6 hours of OCU tuition (THRE 3233 and THRE 3963)
  • Student housing at University of London
  • Instruction at Goldsmiths College
  • Tour and play at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre
  • Weekend in Stratford Upon Avon, including tickets to two Royal Shakespeare Company performances
  • Participation in the the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the world's largest performance arts festival.
  • Insurance

NOTE: Non-US citizens may need to obtain a visa to enter the UK. Failure to obtain a visa is not a valid reason to receive a refund of program fees.

Important Dates

  • Nov. 20, 2023 - Application opens. A $75 (non-refundable) application fee is charged to student's account once application is received. See application link below.
  • Feb. 15, 2024 - Commitment deposit of $500 is due.
  • April 1, 2024 - Final payment of remaining program balance is due.
