Your annual investment will enable OCU’s president to implement the most pressing university-wide priorities, all to the benefit of our students and our community.
Established in 2018 with the inauguration of President Martha Burger, Bright Society serves as a critical network of supporters who are deeply valued by University administration. Three presidential-level priorities will be identified each year and donors will receive a report on the impact of their investments. President Burger has identified scholarships, faculty and staff recruitment and retention, and educational technology as her first and most immediate priorities. We need to make bold moves in these areas to secure OCU’s bright future.

I am so excited about Martha Burger’s leadership of Oklahoma City University and her plans to move OCU forward in terms of its financial sustainability.
In gratitude for your investment in these key areas through the President's Excellence Fund, President Burger will include Bright Society members in special events and personalized communications. Among these are our annual donor celebration, regional receptions, campus-wide events, and other activities to build intimate engagement with Oklahoma City University. Members will also receive Bright Society progress reports and be recognized in University publications.

Membership
Bright Society is comprised of all alumni, friends, and corporate partners of who are actively contributing a minimum of $2,000 annually for three years to the OCU President's Excellence Fund. As President Burger's top priority is scholarships, members may restrict half of their annual investment to scholarship support in a specific school or in athletics, if they wish.
Bright Society Levels
• Pinnacle - an investment of $10,000 or more for three years for a minimum investment of $30,000 Contributions at this level will be individually recognized at annual holiday donor celebration
• Supernova - an investment of $4,000 for three years for a total investment of $12,000
• All Star - an investment of $2,000 for three years for a total investment of $6,000
• Starsky* - an investment of $1,000 for three years for a total investment of $3,000 *Designated for donors under 35 years of age
