Upcoming home-away-from-home games

The Oklahoma City University Stars need a boost. Some teams have essentially lost their home-game advantage for the rest of the season and could use all the fan support they can get.

The Abe Lemons Arena floor suffered major damage when a water pipe froze and broke adjacent to the playing surface during the winter break when temperatures dipped into the single digits. Replacement of the floor is underway.

Meanwhile, the Athletics Department has been searching the metro area to find alternate venues for its home games for the foreseeable future. Basketball games are moving to various locations while the last “home” wrestling matches of the season will be held at Westmoore High School in Moore.

OCU has relocated Saturday’s men's and women's basketball games against Mid-America Christian to Redlands Community College. Tip times for the games will be 2 p.m. for the women's contest and approximately 3:45 p.m. for the men's tilt. Redlands is located at 1300 S. Country Club Road in El Reno.

The remainder of OCU's 2022-23 home basketball schedule will be played at sites to be determined. Further announcements related to game locations will be released on ocusports.com, via OCU Athletics social media accounts and on this blog post.

Upcoming home-away-from-home games:
