Apply for Fall & Spring Housing

Welcome to Oklahoma City University! We at Housing and Residence Life are excited that you've decided to join the OCU Family and to live on campus. We have multiple options based on your classification and below you will find detailed information about applying to live on campus. Housing Contracts are offered for the full academic, Fall and Spring terms, and Spring term only lengths.

Fall Term

New Students

  • Applications Available January 24, 2021

  • All students classified by Admissions under the age of 21 before the first day of classes are required to live on campus unless an exemption is granted by University Housing.Students who meet one or more of the following criteria may apply for an exemption: married students, military duty, 21 years or older, living in a fraternity house, and students living with a parent or guardian within 30 miles of campus. Students who wish to apply for an exemption should complete and submit a residency requirement exemption form. To apply for on-campus housing, please visit the OCU Housing Management System.

  • Housing Applications are available beginning January 24 and room assignment information will be sent to your OCU email address in June 30th.

Current Students

  • Housing Reapplication Available February 7, 2022

  • Current on-campus students who plan to live on campus for the 2022-2023 academic year must go through the Reapplication process which consists of the room retention and room selections options. Once a completed application is received students will be given a window of time to retain their current space if all beds are filled and another time slot to select a new space on campus as long as bed spaces are filled within the room/apartment. Spring Term

Spring Term

  • Applications become available Available October 25, 2021

  • Spring Housing Assignments will be sent out in mid December

  • All students that are under the age of 21 that are enrolled full time before the first day of classes must live on campus.

All new incoming students must apply for on campus housing or apply for an exemption. Students who meet one or more of the following criteria may apply for an exemption: married students, military duty, is 21 years or older, living in a fraternity house, or commuting to campus within a 30-mile radius that is living with their parent/guardian. Students who wish to apply for an exemption should. visit OCU Housing management System to fill out the Residency Exemption Form.
